About The Music
Static Country Club is the alternative rock project of Portland-based artist William Hoffman, blending pop-grunge, garage rock, and pop-punk influences into melodic, slightly chaotic songs built around big hooks and raw emotion. Every Static Country Club song begins acoustically before being expanded with electric guitars, MIDI, and layered production.
Before taking music seriously, Hoffman was recording songs wherever he could find a microphone, often at friends’ houses simply for the fun of making something. That DIY approach still sits at the center of Static Country Club
